Support is the Most Volatile Stage

I’m deep in support calls for a client completing my Signature GLEAMS Process.

Support is the final and most volatile stage of this process. This stage is all about implementation. Things can easily go off the rails at this point, so I meet at least once a month with your team.

I’m in touch to help you get unstuck, to provide recommendations, suggestions, changes to your roadmap, and just about anything else you need. The biggest threat to overcome is inertia. You have been in the process of information with me and now I’m asking you to take the steps in your growth roadmap.

Frequently one of the reasons you have not been on a growth trajectory is because the team is already busy managing the day-to-day. In Support, you need to set aside time to do the work to create change. This requires a significant commitment from you and the team.

Part of what I do is help you identify what to stop doing and areas to create immediate efficiencies to free time for implementation. Finding that space can be challenging when you've been stuck in the status quo for a while.

The next big hurdle comes when things seem to go wrong. This could manifest as a process that isn’t working, challenges you can’t seem to navigate, a lack of a skill set, or perceived disruptions to customers, you never know what will creep up.

I’ve even seen a team startled when an up leveled process goes so well that they feel they can’t cope. This is a good thing that is easy to worry about when many aspects of the business are in flux.

I love witnessing this growth, seeing teams step up and leaders on those teams emerge. There is so much good that can be found in the Support stage and celebrating that is part of what I do with the team.

Building your business to its next level involves risk but the rewards are there for you, your team, and your clients. Don’t hold back. You have so much to offer the world!
