Sleep, Play, Repeat

The kid-dogs are asleep on my lap. Just five minutes ago they were racing around the house playing chase.

Pepper (the black and white one) is a constant example of what joy looks like. He is either doing something that makes him happy, looking for fun, or asleep. If it doesn't fit into his play or sleep routine he's not interested.

Akila, the brown one, is a Basenji. She's more reserved. If she doesn't want to do something she simply doesn't. No kidding, this dog will act like a rodeo clown if she doesn't want to walk through a door. We have a chat about it and I, eventually, get my way.

My point is that both of them are focused on having fun.

Pepper has made paper fun. He can spend hours rustling paper, sliding it across the rug, burrowing under it, tearing it, carrying it around ...

It's hilarious. And a great example of how to make the most mundane seeming thing, at the very least, interesting.

Accounting? Fun with numbers!

Reviewing marketing copy? Word games!

Grocery list? Trying a new cuisine!

Seriously, if you can find ways to make everyday tasks fun that will show up in your business. You will be more relaxed and that comes across to clients and your team.

You will be less likely to put things off. You know it's even harder to do something when it's the last minute and you have to rush! I've been there too!

It keeps your vibration up. I KNOW you want that.

Find a way to make it a little fun and get it done - now.

Pepper and Akila are stirring. I'm going to get up and run around with the dogs outside!
